About
personally
Vietnamese names are a bit different; the family name comes first. Mine is Doan Tran Minh Thanh, though I often go by Thanh Doan.
Originally from central Vietnam, I'm now a full-stack engineer based in Ho Chi Minh City.
I wrote my first lines of code in junior high and made my first games by 15 (a couple of simple projects available on GameJolt).
At 20, I joined to Vietnam Health Literacy, a non-profit organization. A year later, presenting research co-authored with a PhD candidate at a college conference solidified my interest in problem-solving.
I then moved to KVYTech at 22. It's a tech consultancy helping SMEs and startups build software.
My problem-solving philosophy is simple: make it work, make it right, make it fast (inspired by Kent Beck). This is my guiding principle in all my work.
Beyond coding, I practice calisthenics, explores ideas in books and saved, capture moments through my lens.
These balanced doses of dopamine keeps me focused and my code clean, thanks to tools I use.
